Hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend! For the rest of the you who didn’t have a long weekend, hope you guys had Mondays that you successfully slogged through.
I am now officially finished junior year. This year whizzed by at such speed that I’m not exactly sure where it went… Apparently, this thing called “time” goes faster as you get older. I also hear that time always becomes excruciatingly slow when you have a bad haircut, so if it ever goes by too quickly, I’ll know what to do. Which was probably why my childhood years dragged on for so long: the bowl cut was to blame.
Proof:

I finally bought the silicone cupcake molds that had been burning a hole in my Amazon checkout cart. To test them out, I baked chocolate fudge muffins (what else, duh), and they were surprisingly … great? And very easy to clean, which scored bonus points with me, because the worst part of baking is cleaning up. I know I shouldn’t be adding any more bakeware, at least until I graduate, but it’s just so hard. My kitchen has so much bakeware and baking supplies that I grabbed a metal shelf from my friend to store everything.
On another note, I’ve been in Charleston for this past few days, and, of course, obligatory vacation sketch is below. Charleston is a very historic, beautiful city that decided to flood ONLY the days we were there, so we enjoyed it in all its rainy glory. The streets are so quaint and THERE WERE CARRIAGES and I had really good barbeque ribs. Plus, we got to see Fort Sumter even though there was an actual flood warning that day but the weather cleared up right as the ferry docked on the island, so it was all good.
