Although New York was quite a while ago, I finished the sketches on Father’s Day, so they are featuring my old man. For a guy with crackly knees, my dad did quite well trekking around the streets and enjoyed his “first time” in the city. My sister, my mother, and I, who’ve been to New York for umpteenth times, think that it’s actually his SECOND time there … but he’s pretty insistent he’s never set foot there.
He has been! I will have photographic proof!
I’m trying to get my sister into various TV shows (ie. Westworld) but she’s perfectly content on rewatching Brooklyn 99 and The Office. She’s about 9 years behind on Game of Thrones but she’s adamant that she’s going to watch every episode (despite having everything spoiled for her by her classmates) before August. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
